The notion to cure an ailment, to treat the disease and to prevent the sickness is a very satisfying and gratifying one. It is because of this that the knowledge of medical sciences is being emphasized by our Holy Prophet (SAWAW) in many of his teachings and at numerous places in the Holy Quran.

"...And whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of mankind..."
( Qu'ran 5:32)
