The annual medical camp 2006 at Skardu was completed successfully. The team comprised of 4 male doctors and 2 lady doctors (Gynecologist). All of them were specialist in their respective fields.
The team reached Skardu on 19th of June 2006 and started working the very same day. Like previous years a large number of patients from the far flung areas of Baltistan benefited from the camp.
The lady doctors of the team were very much interested in making their visit more useful for the female patients and wanted to operate in the DHQ hospital of Skardu. So we met with Col. Hamdani, the MS of the DHQ hospital. We found him very much cooperative and kind hearted. So he allowed our lady doctors and the Anesthetist to use the operation theater of the hospital.
