AND OBJECTIVES |

To
provide a platform for the Imamia women, the mothers,
sisters, wives and daughters of the Imamia Professionals
and other ladies of the faith to centralize their resources
and use them more effectively for the well being of humanity
in general and the Jafaria Muslim community in particular. |

2. |
To
promote and nurture education and training (ta'leem o
tarbee'at) in the community by helping existing, and establishing
new, institutions and avenues of information, guidance
and knowledge. |
| |
3. |
To
encourage interactions amongst the ladies at each age
level with a view of forming a well-knit and cohesive
society which provides a much needed social support system
and which enables us to face the challenges of the modern
era at the moral, spiritual, social and ethical/civic
levels as well. |

4. |
To
participate in IMI's (Imamia Medics International's)
mainstream activities such as in Medical relief activities,
seminars, conferences, fund raisings, etc. |

5. |
To
promote better understanding of Islam and its true values
by making our homes as the models and ourselves as the
role models. |

FREE
MEDICAL CONSULTATION |
| |
|
All
members of IMI Women Auxiliary are entitled for a free
Medical Consultation for themselves or their relatives
from IMI's Consultative Panel. IMI has established a
70 member Consultative panel and provides help in 22
medical subspecialties.

2. |
PRESCRIPTION
MEDICINE/SUPPLIES. |

|
All
associate members of IMI /members of Women Auxiliary
are entitled for free or subsidized prescription medicines
or supplies if and when necessary. |

3. |
DIAGNOSTIC
TESTS |
| |
|
X
Rays, CT Scans, Ultra Sounds, etc are available at reduced
rates for members. |
| |
4. |
QUARTERLY
ISSUES. |
| |
|
IMI's
International newsletter ‘MEDICS INTERNATIONAL’
(which is dispatched to over 5000 locations world wide)
as well as the electronic newsletter is free for all
associate members/members of Women Auxiliary. |

5. |
NETWORK. |
| |
|
Participate
in IMI's Annual Conferences, regional meetings, women
auxiliary seminars, etc and network with the community
at multiple levels. |

6. |
REFERRALS. |
| |
|
We
can provide any social, professional, academic, business
matters or legal advice as well as career guidance,
immigration and financial consultations. |
| |
7. |
MATCHMAKING. |
| |
|
For
members (men and women) seeking a suitable match for
all good intentions of marriage, IMI Women Auxiliary
can provide assistance. |

8. |
MARRIAGE
COUNSELING SERVICES. |
| |
|
For
members in need of counseling, IMI Women Auxiliary can
provide counseling assistance. |
| |
9. |
VOLUNTEER
CREDITS. |
| |
|
Since
IMI Women Auxiliary is a voluntary group, members who
contribute hours of work are eligible for a letter of
voluntary service upon request. This can be useful for
university/college applicants.

10. |
Medical
or allied medical professional ladies can be part of the
auxiliary as well as the main body of IMI. |
| |
|
|

DUES/MEMBERSHIP |
| |
|
|
| |
1. |
All
members of IMI Women Auxiliary shall be associate members
of IMI and shall pay the dues of the associate members
except Medical or allied Medical Professional ladies
who are entitled for full membership of IMI and shall
pay the dues of a full fledged member |

2. |
DUES: |

Associate
Member $
50 per yr. i.e. less than $ 5 per month. |

Full
Member $110
per yr. i.e. less than $10 per month |
